After the death of wealthy recluse Andrew Marr, Edward Foster inherits his vast and eerie mansion. Ignoring rumours that the house is haunted and attempts to scare him away, Edward decides to restore the property and make it his home.

However, others have their own reasons for being there. Marr’s former physician, Dr. Ian Mandeville, his sister Sarah, and a greedy solicitor named Prescott are all secretly searching the estate for two suitcases of money believed to have been hidden somewhere on the grounds.

As Edward settles into the mansion, he begins hearing strange voices and experiencing disturbing visions from Andrew Marr’s past. He witnesses the tragic breakdown of Marr’s marriage to his unstable wife Victoria and the horrifying events that followed. Consumed by jealousy, Victoria manipulated her disturbed children into murdering the young governess Alta, whom Marr planned to run away with. In a fit of rage and madness, Marr killed his wife and children before sealing their bodies behind a wall along with the hidden fortune.

Tormented by these visions and unable to separate his own identity from Marr’s, Edward’s grip on reality begins to collapse, leading to a deadly chain of events that brings the mansion’s dark secrets to light.
