Oh, God! (1977) American comedy film starring George Burns and John Denver, is based on the 1971 novel by Avery Corman and directed by Carl Reiner. The story focuses on supermarket manager Jerry Landers, chosen by God (Burns) to spread his message despite skepticism from the media, religious authorities, and even his own wife (Teri Garr). The film's success led to a series of sequels - Oh, God! Book II (1980) and Oh, God! You Devil (1984) - featuring Burns reprising his role as God. However, these sequels did not include any other characters from the original story. Jerry's encounter with God leads to a series of events, including a nationally televised appearance with Dinah Shore and a court case where he must prove the existence of God. Throughout it all, God challenges Jerry to have faith and "talk" to Him, reminding him of his strength and potential to spread His message.

Oh, God! Book II (1980) This is a sequel to the 1977 American comedy film Oh, God!, directed by Gilbert Cates. The movie was co-written by Josh Greenfeld, Hal Goldman, Fred S. Fox, Seaman Jacobs, and Melissa Miller. The second installment in the film series stars George Burns, Suzanne Pleshette, David Birney, and Louanne Sirota, with cameo appearances by Joyce Brothers and Hugh Downs. The story follows 11-year-old Tracy Richards (Louanne Sirota) as she helps God promote Himself using the slogan "Think God". Despite her efforts, Tracy's parents and psychiatrists believe she is insane, but only God can fix the situation.
