ADVISE AND CONSENT  (1962) Glenn Ford - Public Domain DVD NO CASE RARE !

ADVISE AND CONSENT (1962) is a rare and highly sought-after American political drama film based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Allen Drury. This DVD, which is in black and white, features an ensemble cast including Henry Fonda, Charles Laughton, Don Murray, and Walter Pidgeon. The film follows the nomination process of a man who commits perjury in confirmation hearings for his nomination as Secretary of State. The title is derived from the United States Constitution's Article II, Sec. 2, cl. 2, which outlines the process for appointing government officials.

The film, set in Washington, D.C., was adapted for the screen by Wendell Mayes and directed by Otto Preminger. It runs for 138 minutes and is a rare and deleted title in the UK. Please note that this DVD is over 50 years old and may not have the same high quality as modern films, but it is still very good and can be watched on a large screen. However, it was made for older screens and may not be suitable for digital viewing.

All DVD-Rs are made to play in all DVD/Blu-ray players, PCs, and are region-free. This DVD is a reproduction of a public domain film and has been thoroughly checked before listing.
