Godzilla Raids Again (1955) is a Japanese kaiju film about Japan's struggle against the destructive monster, Godzilla, who returns to battle another ancient foe, Anguirus. With special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya, the film was inspired by the success of the first Godzilla film and was quickly produced by Toho Co., Ltd. for its release on April 24, 1955. An English dubbed version, Gigantis, the Fire Monster, was released in the United States in 1959. The film was followed by King Kong vs. Godzilla in 1962.
