BEQUEST TO A NATION (aka THE NELSON AFFAIR) (1973) Peter Finch, Glenda Jackson - Public Domain DVD NO CASE

BEQUEST TO A NATION (1973) is a British historical drama film directed by James Cellan Jones and starring Glenda Jackson, Peter Finch, Michael Jayston, and Margaret Leighton. Based on Terence Rattigan's 1970 play A Bequest to the Nation, the film follows the relationship between Admiral Lord Nelson and his mistress, Lady Hamilton, during the Napoleonic Wars. Set primarily at their estate, Merton Place, the film also depicts their interactions with other notable figures, including Nelson's nephew, George Matcham Jr. Ultimately, it culminates in the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar.

The DVD is in color and runs for 118 minutes in widescreen format. Please note that as this movie is over 50 years old, the quality may not be up to today's standards, but it is still very good and can be enjoyed on a large screen. Keep in mind that it was originally made for older screens and not digital ones.
