When respected minister David Collins (George Nader) confronts a burglar in his home, a tragic struggle ends in the accidental death of the young intruder. Although the incident is ruled self-defence, David finds little comfort in the verdict. Haunted by guilt and struggling to rebuild his family's peace of mind, he soon discovers that the nightmare is only just beginning.

The dead youth's father, Willie Fraley (Eduard Franz), is consumed by grief and a burning desire for revenge. Convinced that justice has not been served, Fraley sets his sights on the person David loves most—his young son. As ominous threats escalate and fear grips the Collins household, David finds himself trapped in a desperate race against time to protect his family from a man driven beyond reason.

With tension mounting at every turn, Man Afraid combines the shadowy atmosphere of classic film noir with an emotionally charged story of guilt, vengeance, and redemption. Director Harry Keller expertly crafts a suspenseful thriller that keeps viewers on edge as the stakes rise and danger closes in.
