“A DAZZLING MIXTURE OF COMEDY, ROMANCE, ESPIONAGE AND DEADLY INTRIGUE!”
Doris Day and Richard Harris star in this colourful, fast-moving 1967 comedy thriller packed with international espionage, secret agents, dangerous double-crosses and hilarious misunderstandings.
When glamorous industrial designer Patricia Foster (Doris Day) is dismissed from a leading cosmetics company after being accused of stealing a secret formula, she finds herself recruited by a rival firm. But what begins as a seemingly harmless case of industrial espionage soon develops into a dangerous international conspiracy involving stolen beauty products, mysterious chemicals and a ruthless narcotics smuggling operation.
With the help of the charming but mysterious Christopher White (Richard Harris), Patricia travels from the fashionable streets of Paris to the snow-covered mountains of Switzerland, determined to uncover the truth behind her father's mysterious death. But with secret agents, double agents and deadly assassins closing in, Patricia soon discovers that nobody is quite who they appear to be.
Featuring breathtaking Alpine scenery, spectacular helicopter sequences, witty comedy and plenty of unexpected twists, Caprice is a delightful 1960s spy adventure directed by Frank Tashlin, combining Doris Day's irresistible charm with Richard Harris's suave sophistication.
