SOME SAY HE'S DEAD... SOME SAY HE NEVER WILL BE!
SYNOPSIS:
Robert Redford stars in this magnificent Western adventure as Jeremiah Johnson, a disillusioned Mexican War veteran who abandons civilisation to seek freedom and solitude in the breathtaking but unforgiving Rocky Mountains. Determined to survive as a mountain man, Johnson must learn the harsh realities of wilderness life, battling freezing winters, dangerous wildlife and hostile encounters. Guided by the eccentric trapper Bear Claw Chris Lapp, he gradually masters the skills needed to survive. Along his journey, Johnson unexpectedly finds love and family, building a peaceful existence deep in the mountains. But when tragedy strikes following a confrontation with Crow warriors, his peaceful world is shattered, setting him on a relentless path of revenge. As his reputation grows into legend, Johnson becomes a feared and respected figure of the American frontier. Filmed against spectacular mountain scenery, this powerful and moving classic is an unforgettable tale of survival, courage, loss and the price of freedom.
