In the British horror film, The Creeping Flesh (1973), directed by Freddie Francis, written by Peter Spenceley and Jonathan Rumbold, and starring Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and Lorna Heilbron, Victorian scientist Professor Emmanuel Hildern discovers a mysterious form of evil that he unintentionally unleashes. His research on a giant skeleton discovered in New Guinea leads him to believe that evil can be contained and eradicated like a disease. However, when his own daughter is injected with his serum, chaos ensues. As the story unfolds, it becomes unclear whether Hildern is truly a scientist or an inmate in a psychiatric asylum, adding to the suspense of this rare, public domain DVD.
