THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN (1971) is an American science fiction thriller film based on Michael Crichton's novel of the same name. Starring Arthur Hill, James Olson, Kate Reid, and David Wayne, the film follows a team of scientists investigating a deadly alien organism that has caused widespread death in a small town. With special effects designed by Douglas Trumbull and notable use of split screen, this film is a gripping portrayal of humanity's struggle against an extraterrestrial threat. The team, led by Dr. Jeremy Stone, must navigate through dangerous obstacles and make critical decisions as they race against time to contain the organism and prevent a catastrophic outcome. But even as they succeed in their mission, the realization dawns that they may not always be able to overcome such formidable odds.

Please note this DVD movie is over 50 years Old and in Colour, it will not be up to today's high Quality, although the Quality is very good and can be watched on a large screen. Please remember it was made for the older screens though and not digital.
