COOKIE  (1989)  Starring - Peter Falk, Emily Lloyd - DVD - Public Domain DVD NO CASE

Fresh out of prison after thirteen years, old-school mobster Dapper Dino Capisco (Peter Falk) is ready to reclaim his share of the business and enjoy a quieter life. But things have changed while he has been away, and his former associates have no intention of giving him what he is owed.

Enter Cookie (Emily Lloyd), Dino's rebellious, gum-chewing teenage daughter. Sharp-tongued, streetwise and every bit as cunning as her father, Cookie soon becomes an unlikely partner in Dino's battle against the mobsters who betrayed him. Together they devise an outrageous scheme involving stolen money, a fake assassination and one very explosive limousine!

Directed by Susan Seidelman, Cookie is a fast-moving crime comedy combining mob intrigue, family friction and offbeat humour.
