"The Big Easy" is a 1986 thriller film directed by Jim McBride, starring Dennis Quaid, Ellen Barkin, John Goodman, and Ned Beatty. It is set and filmed in New Orleans and was later adapted for a television series. The plot follows a police lieutenant investigating a murder and being accused of corruption by a state district attorney. As they form a romantic relationship, they uncover a conspiracy involving a boat yard and drug smuggling. The film ends with a fiery shootout and a romantic dance between the two lead characters.

Please note this DVD movie is over 40 years Old and in Colour, it will not be up to today's high Quality, although the Quality is very good and can be watched on a large screen. Please remember it was made for the older screens though and not digital.
