SHE WAS BORN TO MAKE WAVES... AND NOTHING IN THE WORLD COULD KEEP MOLLY BROWN DOWN!

Starring Debbie Reynolds, Harve Presnell and Ed Begley, The Unsinkable Molly Brown is a spectacular 1964 musical comedy from director Charles Walters, bursting with unforgettable songs, dazzling dance routines, colourful characters, romance and heartwarming adventure. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Titanic survivor Margaret "Molly" Brown, this delightful MGM musical tells the story of a spirited young woman whose determination, courage and infectious enthusiasm carry her from humble beginnings to international fame. Rescued from a river as a baby and raised in the rugged Colorado wilderness by kindly Seamus Tobin, the irrepressible Molly grows up dreaming of wealth, adventure and a better life. Setting off for the bustling mining town of Leadville, she finds work as a saloon singer and soon attracts the attention of handsome miner Johnny Brown, whose charm and devotion eventually win her heart. When Johnny strikes it rich, the couple find themselves suddenly wealthy and move into a magnificent Denver mansion, where Molly sets her sights on joining the city's fashionable high society. Unfortunately, her outspoken personality, unconventional manners and exuberant behaviour make her an unwelcome guest among Denver's snobbish elite. Determined to prove herself, Molly travels to Europe, where she charms royalty and aristocrats before returning home with her distinguished new friends. But her carefully arranged society party descends into hilarious chaos when Johnny's rowdy mining companions arrive unexpectedly, threatening everything Molly has worked to achieve. As her ambitions begin to place a strain on her marriage, Molly must discover what truly matters in life. Her remarkable journey eventually takes her aboard the ill-fated RMS Titanic, where her bravery and determination during the ship's tragic sinking transform her into an international heroine. Featuring spectacular musical numbers, lavish costumes, beautiful scenery and an outstanding performance by Debbie Reynolds, who received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, The Unsinkable Molly Brown is a joyous celebration of love, courage, determination and the indomitable human spirit. A magnificent Golden Age Hollywood musical filled with laughter, romance, adventure and unforgettable entertainment for the whole family!
