Martial-arts legend Jim Kelly explodes into his first starring role as Black Belt Jones, a cool, fearless fighter who finds himself battling both organised crime and a ruthless local drug dealer.

When Mafia interests attempt to seize a neighbourhood karate school owned by Jones's friend Pop Byrd, intimidation quickly turns deadly. The dojo then passes to Pop's daughter Sydney (Gloria Hendry), a formidable martial artist who has no intention of surrendering her father's property. Joining forces, Jones and Sydney devise an audacious plan to turn the criminals against one another—leading to a succession of spectacular fights and an action-packed showdown.

A colourful slice of 1970s blaxploitation cinema, Black Belt Jones combines fast-paced martial arts, humour and streetwise action.
