NUMBER 5 IS ALIVE!
Deep inside the high-tech NOVA Laboratories, a team of scientists has created a group of sophisticated military robots. But when experimental unit Number 5 is struck by lightning, something extraordinary happens — his programming changes and he suddenly develops a mind, personality and curiosity all his own.
Escaping from the laboratory and discovering the outside world for the first time, Number 5 encounters animal-loving Stephanie Speck, who initially mistakes her unusual visitor for something from another planet. As she bombards him with the “input” he desperately craves, Stephanie begins to realise that Number 5 isn't simply malfunctioning — he's alive!
But NOVA wants its valuable military hardware back. With inventor Newton Crosby and an increasingly determined security team searching for him, Number 5 must prove that he is more than a machine before he's captured and dismantled.
