Quiet dollmaker Mr. Franz (John Hoyt) appears to be a kindly businessman who creates beautifully lifelike dolls. Hidden behind the walls of his toy factory, however, lies a terrifying secret. Using a bizarre shrinking machine of his own invention, Franz reduces anyone who threatens to leave him to miniature size, preserving them in glass display cases as part of his growing "collection."

When secretary Sally Reynolds (June Kenney) falls in love with travelling salesman Bob Westley (John Agar), Franz's obsessive fear of abandonment drives him to commit his most dangerous crime yet. Shrunk to only a few inches tall, Sally and Bob must join Franz's other tiny prisoners in a desperate struggle for survival while racing to escape before their captor destroys them forever.

Directed by legendary giant-monster filmmaker Bert I. Gordon, Attack of the Puppet People is a classic 1950s science-fiction thriller combining suspense, horror and imaginative special effects. Packed with oversized everyday dangers and inventive miniature photography, this cult favourite remains one of Gordon's most memorable creations.
