“AN EXPLOSIVE ESPIONAGE ADVENTURE IN WHICH BULLETS AND MYSTERY WOMEN PLAY A DEADLY GAME!”
Rock Hudson and Claudia Cardinale star in this exciting 1966 romantic comedy thriller packed with international espionage, mysterious government agents, dangerous double-crosses and unexpected romance.
When successful New York psychiatrist Dr. Bartholomew Snow (Rock Hudson) is secretly recruited by American intelligence officials to treat a brilliant government scientist suffering from a nervous breakdown, he finds himself caught in a bewildering world of spies and sinister conspiracies. Taken blindfolded to a top-secret location known only as Base X, Snow soon discovers that his patient possesses valuable information that ruthless enemy agents will stop at nothing to obtain.
Matters become even more complicated when the scientist's beautiful and fiery sister, Vicky Vincenti (Claudia Cardinale), mistakenly believes Snow has kidnapped her brother. To protect his secret mission, the resourceful psychiatrist invents a story that they are secretly engaged, leading to a hilarious series of romantic misunderstandings.
But as mysterious agents close in and loyalties become increasingly uncertain, Snow must use his intelligence and ingenuity to uncover the truth, rescue his patient and stay one step ahead of a dangerous international espionage ring.
Combining suspense, action, romance and sparkling comedy, Blindfold is an entertaining 1960s spy adventure featuring Rock Hudson at his charismatic best alongside the glamorous Claudia Cardinale.
