ON A CLEAR DAY I CAN SEE FOREVER (1970) is a musical film that follows a hypnotherapist, played by Yves Montand, as he discovers his patient, Barbra Streisand, has a past life as a seductive 19th century aristocrat. As their hypnotherapy sessions progress, complications arise when the therapist begins to fall for Daisy's former self and his colleagues demand he give up his research. Meanwhile, Daisy is torn between her conservative fiancé and her ex-step-brother, who she has an easy rapport with. In the end, Daisy must make a decision about her future and her past lives.
