Friday Foster (Pam Grier) is a fearless former model turned magazine photographer whose determination to get the story frequently lands her in danger. After witnessing an assassination attempt on wealthy businessman Blake Tarr, Friday becomes caught in a deadly conspiracy. When her closest friend is murdered and Friday herself becomes a target, she joins forces with private detective Colt Hawkins (Yaphet Kotto) to uncover the truth.
Their investigation leads them into a dangerous web of corruption, murder and political intrigue—and a sinister plot threatening some of America's most prominent Black leaders. Fast-moving, stylish and packed with 1970s action, Friday Foster gives Pam Grier one of her most memorable starring roles.
