Stan Butler’s disastrous driving finally gets him, conductor Jack and inspector Blakey fired from the bus company. Stan and Jack soon land new jobs driving a tour bus at a holiday camp in North Wales — only to discover that Blakey has also found work there as the camp’s security inspector.

Stan brings the entire Butler family along for a cheap holiday, and chaos quickly follows. Lost luggage, romantic pursuits, ruined chalet walls, an exploding toilet, dancing disasters and a succession of misunderstandings keep Stan, Jack, Olive, Arthur and Blakey in constant trouble.

Things go from bad to worse when Stan’s attempts to romance the female guests collide with Blakey’s determination to catch him breaking the rules. By the time Stan and Jack take the camp bus onto the beach, their holiday employment is heading towards one spectacular final disaster.
