Brilliant but utterly unhinged geneticist Professor Nolter is obsessed with creating a new form of life by fusing human beings with carnivorous plants. Using kidnapped university students as unwilling test subjects, Nolter's grotesque experiments produce a series of horrifying mutations that defy both science and humanity.

Those who fail to survive the experiments are handed over to the sinister showman Mr. Lynch, who exhibits the deformed victims alongside his travelling circus of bizarre attractions. But as the professor's creations become increasingly unstable, his horrifying vision begins to spiral out of control, leading to a terrifying confrontation where monsters and their creators alike seek vengeance.

Blending shocking horror, twisted science fiction and classic 1970s exploitation cinema, The Mutations remains one of the era's most unusual cult films.
