A seemingly abandoned Italian castle becomes the setting for a nightmare when a publisher, photographer and group of glamorous models arrive to shoot photographs for a horror publication. They soon discover that the castle is occupied by reclusive former actor Travis Anderson.
When the visitors ignore Anderson’s warning to stay away from the castle’s forbidden dungeon, they awaken something terrifying within him. Assuming the identity of The Crimson Executioner, Anderson unleashes a sadistic reign of terror, subjecting his unwanted guests to the castle’s gruesome collection of medieval torture devices.
Starring Mickey Hargitay as the deranged Travis Anderson, alongside Walter Brandi, Luisa Baratto, Rita Klein, Alfredo Rizzo and Ralph Zucker, Bloody Pit of Horror is a wildly colourful slice of 1960s Italian Gothic horror—packed with sinister dungeons, elaborate death traps and macabre atmosphere.
