Earth's greatest monsters become weapons in an invasion from another world!
Astronauts Fuji and Glenn are sent to investigate the mysterious Planet X, where they discover an advanced alien civilisation living underground in fear of the terrifying three-headed space monster King Ghidorah.
The aliens, known as the Xiliens, make Earth an extraordinary offer: lend them Godzilla and Rodan to defend Planet X against Ghidorah, and in return they will provide humanity with a miraculous medical cure.
But once the Earth monsters have been transported to Planet X, the astronauts begin to suspect that their apparently friendly hosts have a far more sinister objective. Their fears are confirmed when the Xiliens seize control of Godzilla, Rodan and King Ghidorah and unleash all three against Earth.
With humanity facing destruction, Fuji, Glenn and their allies must discover the aliens' hidden weakness, break their control over the monsters and stop an invasion that could mean the end of civilisation.
A colourful blend of science fiction, alien invasion and spectacular kaiju action, directed by Ishirō Honda with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya.
