MY MAN GODFREY (1936) is a critically acclaimed American screwball comedy film directed by Gregory La Cava and starring William Powell and Carole Lombard. The story follows a socialite who hires a derelict to be her family's butler and falls in love with him. The film received six Oscar nominations and has a 97% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In 1999, it was deemed "culturally significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. It was later remade in 1957 with different actors.

Please note this DVD movie is over 50 years Old and in Black & White, it will not be up to today's high Quality, although the Quality is very good and can be watched on a large screen. Please remember it was made for the older screens though and not digital.
