Naked Alibi is a 1954 crime film directed by Jerry Hopper, starring Sterling Hayden, Gloria Grahame, and Gene Barry. It was released by Universal-International on October 1, 1954, with parts of the film filming in Tijuana. In a California city, Lt. Fred Parks (Max Showalter) interrogates local baker Albert Willis (Gene Barry) about possible connections to recent robberies. Despite his repeated claims of innocence, Willis becomes violent and punches Parks, who responds in kind. Chief Joseph E. Conroy (Sterling Hayden) arrives just in time to hear Willis threaten revenge, but he is forced to release him due to allegations of police brutality. Willis returns to his wife Helen (Marcia Henderson), but leaves again and comes back with a gunshot wound. Joe takes on the case and suspects Willis, but only has the fatal bullets as evidence. When the police try to arrest Willis, he escapes and falls during the pursuit. He
