One phone call can start a war.

Decades after the Cuban Missile Crisis, a chilling secret resurfaces: the Soviet Union planted deep-cover sleeper agents across America—ordinary citizens unknowingly programmed to carry out deadly sabotage when triggered by a coded line from a Robert Frost poem.

When a rogue KGB clerk steals the classified “Telefon Book” containing the agents’ identities, he begins activating them one by one. As unexplained acts of destruction erupt across the country, U.S. intelligence is left scrambling for answers while global tensions quietly escalate.

To prevent an international crisis, the KGB sends Major Grigori Borzov, an elite operative with a photographic memory, to track down the renegade and stop the attacks before they ignite World War III. But as Borzov closes in, shifting loyalties and hidden agendas threaten to turn the mission into a deadly game of deception.
