The 1957 American film MAN OF A THOUSAND FACES follows the life of silent film actor Lon Chaney, played by James Cagney. Directed by Joseph Pevney and starring Dorothy Malone, Jane Greer, Jim Backus, and Roger Smith, this film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Through Lon's successes in vaudeville and later in Hollywood, he faces personal struggles with his wife, Cleva, and their son, Creighton, in this dramatic and dark portrayal of Chaney's life. Watch as Lon overcomes obstacles, becomes a star in the film industry, and leaves a lasting legacy for his son to follow.
