When world-renowned conductor Claude Eastman marries the radiant, much younger Daniella, he believes he has found harmony at last. But while traveling abroad, a garbled message sets off a disastrous chain of events. Fearing his new wife may be unfaithful, Claude asks a friend to keep watch — and soon a private investigator delivers grainy footage that seems to confirm his worst suspicions.

The supposed lover appears to be Maximilian Stein, Claude’s gifted protégé and the orchestra’s notorious ladies’ man. Consumed by jealousy, Claude engineers confrontations that only deepen the misunderstanding, misreading guilt and half-truths as proof of betrayal. As tempers flare, a public violin duel erupts to the fiery strains of Monti’s Csárdás, turning suspicion into spectacle.

Driven to the brink, Claude devises a chilling plan for revenge while conducting Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, his mind racing with murderous intent.
