Night Train to Munich is a 1940 thriller film directed by Carol Reed and starring Margaret Lockwood and Rex Harrison. Based on a 1939 short story and set in the prelude to the Second World War, the film follows the story of an inventor and his daughter who are kidnapped by the Gestapo after the Nazis invade Prague. A British secret service agent, disguised as a high-ranking German officer, must try to save them and stop the Nazis from obtaining the inventor's new technology. Along the way, he must navigate through various obstacles and risks, including unexpected allies and enemies. With a thrilling plot and engaging characters, this film is a must-watch for fans of action and suspense.
