THE GORGON is a 1964 horror film directed by Terence Fisher and starring Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Richard Pasco, and Barbara Shelley. The movie revolves around a series of gruesome murders in a small German village, with each victim being turned into stone. As the townspeople are consumed by fear and suspicion, the real cause of the killings is slowly revealed by Professor Jules Heitz, whose own son becomes embroiled in the deadly mystery. With a chilling blend of Ancient Mythology and a supernatural creature known as Megeara the Gorgon, this film is a masterclass in gothic terror.
