After seven years confined to a mental institution, Mike Pearson is finally released—but his terrifying encounters with the mysterious Tall Man are far from over.
Haunted by visions and psychically connected to a young woman named Liz Reynolds, Mike becomes convinced that the Tall Man is continuing his gruesome journey from town to town, robbing graveyards and transforming the dead into his sinister servants. When tragedy strikes close to home, Reggie finally accepts that Mike has been telling the truth, and the two take to the road determined to hunt their seemingly indestructible enemy down.
Their search leads them through deserted towns, empty cemeteries and ultimately to a nightmarish mortuary where the Tall Man's deadly silver spheres are waiting. Armed with shotguns, chainsaws and anything else they can find, Mike, Reggie and Liz must confront an enemy whose plans reach far beyond the grave.
