When Ruth Bennett inherits an old Revolutionary-era house near Gettysburg, she moves in with her young niece Sara, hoping to begin a peaceful new life. But the house has a dark history—and its former inhabitants have never truly left.
After a séance awakens a sinister presence, Sara begins behaving strangely and terrifying supernatural events grip the house. Ruth and her friends uncover the tragic story of two young lovers who vanished centuries earlier, and soon realise that restless spirits are possessing the living to replay the violent events of the past.
To end the haunting, they must uncover what lies hidden within the house and expose a terrible secret that has remained buried for generations.
