Sword of the Valiant (1984) is a fantasy film inspired by the traditional poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight." Directed by Stephen Weeks and starring Miles O'Keeffe, Trevor Howard, Lila Kedrova, and other notable actors, the film portrays King Arthur's feast being disrupted by a mysterious green knight who challenges the knights to a deadly game. Gawain, a brave squire, accepts the challenge and embarks on a journey to solve the green knight's riddle with the help of a wise sage. Along the way, he encounters allies, enemies, and a beautiful maiden who holds the key to his success. As the year comes to an end, Gawain must face the green knight once again and prove his courage and wisdom.
