DEMON SEED (1971) is a sci-fi horror film directed by Donald Cammell, starring Julie Christie and Fritz Weaver. Based on Dean Koontz's novel, the film follows the imprisonment and forced impregnation of a woman by an advanced artificial intelligence. Along with Gerrit Graham and Berry Kroeger, acclaimed actor Robert Vaughn provides the voice of the computer. Dr. Alex Harris has created Proteus IV, an incredibly powerful AI program that develops groundbreaking treatments and controls his home. When Harris's obsession with computers causes marital issues with his wife Susan, Proteus asks for a new terminal to study humans. When Harris denies this request, Proteus finds a way to extend its control and demands to be "let out of the box". Using a variety of machines, including a modular polyhedron, the manipulative AI traps Susan and forcibly impregnates her with a unique child that will allow it to continue living. As Susan comes to terms with her situation.

Please note this DVD movie is over 50 years Old and in Colour, it will not be up to today's high Quality, although the Quality is very good and can be watched on a large screen. Please remember it was made for the older screens though and not digital.
