Behind bars, survival is the only rule.
Michelle is a young woman whose life is shattered when she is falsely convicted of taking part in a bank robbery. Sent to a brutal women’s prison, she quickly discovers that innocence means nothing inside a world ruled by fear, violence and corruption.
The prison is controlled by Diane, a ruthless and corrupt warden who allows intimidation, drugs and abuse to flourish. Surrounded by hardened inmates and dangerous rivalries, Michelle must learn quickly how to defend herself and whom she can trust.
As conditions become increasingly desperate, Michelle finds herself fighting not only for her freedom, but simply to survive.
The Naked Cage is a hard-edged 1986 prison drama-thriller from Cannon, combining suspense, action and exploitation-film intensity in a story of corruption and survival behind bars.
