THE ICE PIRATES (1984) is a comic science fiction film directed by Stewart Raffill and written by Raffill and Stanford Sherman. Starring Robert Urich, Mary Crosby, and Michael D. Roberts, the film also features notable actors such as Anjelica Huston, Ron Perlman, Bruce Vilanch, John Carradine, and John Matuszak. Set in a distant future where water is scarce, a band of pirates led by Jason raids a Templar cruiser for ice, but ends up kidnapping a beautiful princess who is also sought after by the Templars. As they journey together to find the legendary "Seventh World" with vast water reserves, they encounter challenges and betrayals. However, with the help of a time-distortion field, they are able to outsmart their enemies and reach their destination, revealing it to be none other than Earth.
