Sometimes the road to finding yourself begins with finding your friends again.
Lucy, Kit and Mimi were once inseparable childhood friends, but by the time they graduate from high school their lives have taken very different paths. Reunited by a promise they made years earlier, the three girls impulsively set off on a cross-country road trip to Los Angeles.
Travelling in a battered convertible with the mysterious Ben, their journey soon becomes much more than an adventure. Along the way, old secrets are revealed, friendships are tested, hearts are broken and Lucy begins to discover the confidence to follow her own dreams rather than the future others have chosen for her.
