Bride of the Monster is a 1955 sci-fi horror movie, made by independent American filmmaker Edward D. Wood Jr. and starring screen legend Bela Lugosi. The film boasts the highest budget of Wood's career - a whopping $70,000. Production began in 1954 but was halted due to financial issues, finally being completed a year later. It premiered in May of that year, initially screening alongside another movie called Macumba. In the film, two hunters take shelter in a supposedly haunted house owned by scientist Dr. Eric Vornoff, who denies them hospitality. However, their attempt to enter the house is thwarted by a giant octopus, released from its tank by Vornoff's assistant, Lobo. After the hunters' unsuccessful break-in, Vornoff conducts experiments on one of them, who ultimately dies. This adds to the growing number of missing victims, which now stands at twelve.

Please note this DVD movie is over 50 years Old and in Black & White, it will not be up to today's high Quality, although the Quality is very good and can be watched on a large screen. Please remember it was made for the older screens though and not digital.
