Covered under the title Blackboard Massacre in the UK, MASSACRE AT CENTRAL HIGH (1976) is a gripping American thriller film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rene Daalder, and featuring a talented cast including Derrel Maury, Kimberly Beck, Robert Carradine, and Andrew Stevens. The plot delves into the dark consequences of revenge at a fictional high school in America, where the oppressed students rise up against their tyrannical bullies. What sets this film apart is its unique blend of political allegory, social commentary, and low-budget exploitation. With the exception of the final scene, no "adult" characters such as teachers or parents are shown, leaving the students themselves to confront the weight of their actions.
