Revenge of the Creature (a.k.a. Return of the Creature and Return of the Creature from the Black Lagoon) is a 1955 3D monster film that follows a captured Gill-man at the Ocean Harbor Oceanarium in Florida, studied by animal psychologist Professor Clete Ferguson and ichthyology student Helen Dobson. As their relationship grows, the Gill-man takes a liking to Helen, causing issues for Clete. When the creature escapes and abducts Helen, Clete and the police must intervene before it's too late for the captive. Directed by Jack Arnold and starring John Agar, Lori Nelson, John Bromfield, and Nestor Paiva, this sequel to Creature from the Black Lagoon was released in 1955 as the only 3D film of the year. Produced by William Alland, it also marked a young Clint Eastwood's debut as an uncredited technician. After its premiere on March 11, 1955, Revenge of the Creature.
