Too Late the Hero (1970) PUBLIC DOMAIN DVD ONLY NO CASE

During World War II, Lieutenant Junior Grade Sam Lawson was a Japanese-language interpreter serving in the 1942 Pacific theatre. Assigned to a British infantry commando unit on the New Hebrides Islands, Lawson and his squad must complete a dangerous mission that involves destroying a Japanese radio transmitter and throwing off the enemy's sense of security. Despite facing challenges such as a commanding officer with a record of recklessness and tragic deaths of fellow soldiers, Lawson and his comrades must persevere in order to protect their allies and complete their mission.
