SPEED, RIVALRY AND DANGER ON THE DRAG-RACING CIRCUIT!
Veteran drag-racing star Lonnie “Lucky Man” Johnson lives for speed. Driving for the powerful FastCo racing team, Lonnie is still one of the biggest attractions on the circuit, while his ambitious young protégé Billy “The Kid” Brooker is determined to prove that he has what it takes to become a champion.
But behind the excitement of the racetrack, ruthless team boss Phil Adamson is more interested in money and control than loyalty. When tensions erupt and Lonnie and his crew are pushed aside in favour of rival driver Gary “The Blacksmith” Black, they decide they aren't finished racing yet.
With a stolen-back Funny Car, a determined independent team and one final showdown at Edmonton, Lonnie and Billy prepare to settle matters on the track. But sabotage, betrayal and a deadly scheme turn the race into a fight for survival, culminating in a spectacular high-speed confrontation.
Directed by David Cronenberg, Fast Company is an energetic 1979 action drama packed with roaring engines, Funny Cars, burning rubber and old-school drag-racing action.
