Wizards is a 1977 animated post-apocalyptic science fantasy film directed by Ralph Bakshi and distributed by 20th Century-Fox. The movie showcases a battle between two opposing wizards, one with the power of magic and the other with the power of technology. This was Bakshi's first venture into fantasy filmmaking, having previously been known for his "urban films" such as Fritz the Cat, Heavy Traffic, and Coonskin. The film had a budget of $2 million and grossed $9 million in theatres. The story takes place on an Earth devastated by a nuclear war, where mutants have emerged as the dominant species. However, the true ancestors of humanity - trolls, fairies, elves, and dwarves - resurface and live in a peaceful land called Montagar. Years later, the evil Blackwolf, twin brother of the kindhearted Avatar, tries to take control of Montagar using his army of mutants and ancient technology.

Please note this DVD movie is over 45 years Old and in Colour, it will not be up to today's high Quality, although the Quality is very good and can be watched on a large screen. Please remember it was made for the older screens though and not digital.
