They're the Most Unlikely Bank Robbers You'll Ever Meet!
Academy Award winners Bette Davis and Ernest Borgnine team up for this charming, offbeat comedy that proves it's never too late to fight back. Filled with humour, heart and a touch of 1970s counterculture, Bunny O'Hare is an entertaining caper about two unlikely outlaws who become America's most unexpected bank-robbing duo.
After losing her home and life savings to the very bank she trusted, widow Bunny O'Hare refuses to accept defeat. When she discovers that drifter Bill Green is actually an aging bank robber on the run, Bunny persuades him to teach her the tricks of the trade. Before long, the pair disguise themselves as free-spirited hippies and embark on a series of daring robberies that leave police completely baffled.
Using imaginative distractions, clever disguises and plenty of determination, Bunny and Bill become unlikely folk heroes while staying one step ahead of the law. But with detectives closing in, their greatest challenge may be discovering whether friendship and freedom are worth risking everything for.
Packed with witty dialogue, memorable performances and plenty of light-hearted action, Bunny O'Hare is a delightful crime comedy that remains a hidden gem of early 1970s cinema.
