Twenty years have passed since the exploits of the legendary Musketeers, but France is once again on the brink of civil war. With the young King Louis XIV on the throne and the ruthless Cardinal Mazarin manipulating events from behind the scenes, old loyalties are tested and lifelong friendships are pushed to breaking point.

As d'Artagnan reunites Athos, Porthos and Aramis, the once inseparable companions find themselves fighting on opposing sides of a bitter conflict. At the same time, a deadly new enemy emerges in the form of the beautiful but vengeful Justine de Winter, daughter of the infamous Milady, determined to avenge her mother's death.

From daring sword fights and spectacular ship battles to palace intrigue and high adventure, the Four Musketeers face their greatest challenge yet. Betrayal, revenge and political upheaval threaten to destroy everything they have fought for, but one final ride may prove that honour, courage and friendship can never truly fade.
